METAL SPRAY

We are able to metal spray items ranging from small bespoke items through to large scale fabrications such as bridges and staircases; using aluminium. Method of application; oxygen, propane and compressed air.

Service Explained

Metal spraying is the process of spraying molten non-ferrous metals. The molten material, which is propelled on to the required object, is atomised by a cone of compressed air.

All material must be shot blasted to a Swedish Standard SA3 prior to being metal sprayed in order to maximise the adhesion between the spray metal and the surface area of the fabrication.

On contact, the molten spray solidifies onto the surface and forms a dense, strong, adherent coating. Then a sealer coat is applied to the newly sprayed metal after which a range of paint systems can be applied and finished to any colour.
