Blast Cleaning

We offer our customers either manual or automatic blasting services; offering blasts to Swedish and British standards. The type of services is dependent on the type of material that is to be processed.

Automatic Blasting

Our automatic blast machine can handle material of any length with dimensions no greater than a height of up to 1 metre and a width of up to 2 metres. In some cases however material with suitable dimensions will not be suitable for automatic blasting due to its design and profile.

Manual Blasting

Our manual blast chamber has the following dimensions 12 metres x 5.1 meters x 3.4 meters (Length x Breadth x Height) allowing for a diverse range of fabrications up a weight of 20 tonnes. The blast chamber can be reconfigured to handle objects out with the above dimensions; note: consultation will be required first.

Service Explained

Blasting Cleaning (commonly known as Shot Blasting) is the operation of cleaning surfaces by forcibly propelling a stream of abrasive material against an objects surface. This removes surface contaminants such as rust, mill scale and any previous paint system and creates the clean surface needed for the successful application of a paint system.
